A fantastic team performance from the boys! ?

From the first whistle, HBFC set the tone, putting Herne Bay Harriers under relentless pressure and making it difficult for them to play out of their own half. The boys battled for every ball, competed for every header and showed great determination, teamwork and desire throughout.

This was a performance built on the whole squad working together, with everyone playing their part. Our substitutes also made a real impact when they came onto the pitch, bringing fresh energy and helping us maintain the intensity right until the end. ?

There were some excellent moments going forward, with Callum Sampson and Ollie Killick combining brilliantly for a superb goal, Ollie providing the assist for Callum to finish. The third goal was another fantastic moment, as Riley Holmes delivered a quality corner for Ollie Killick to rise and head home! ⚽

At the other end, Jacob Whitehouse was outstanding between the sticks. Solid, composed and dependable throughout, he fully deserved to be named Parents’ Player of the Match. ??
