Herne bay u12’s played at home against Dover rangers this Saturday with the bay boys coming out strong with instant pressure on goal, 2 minutes in and Grayson Marjolin puts the ball in the bottom right corner to give Herne bay the lead. The boys dominated the first quarter of the game with another 9 attempts on goal that the Dover keeper managed to hold off so hats of to him! Well done keeper. Dover finally saw a chance and equalised with a goal slotted into the bottom corner taking us into half time.
2nd half Herne bay came out with fight with a very quick goal from Joseph Davis followed very quickly with a 3rd goal from Grayson Marjolin which resulted from a great throw in from defender Klay Bubb. Dovers attack stepped up with keeper Ollie Anderson seeing a few attempts safely over the crossbar maintaining Herne bays lead. With 10 minutes remaining Midfielder Tyler wells set Reuben Reeves for the 4th goal followed in quick consession by a goal from Archie Comber as a result of a corner. Final result 5-1
