This was a game we needed to win after two disappointing weekends. The first half was pretty even with few chances for either side so we went in goal-less at half time. Once the second half was underway we started to get on top and were making some good chances. About midway through the half we took the lead when Amari scored a fine goal. Within a short while we were two up when Alfie scored with a shot that went across the goal and in off the far post. We seemed to be in charge when Ramsgate broke away and scored making it 2-1, and it put us under a bit of pressure. It didn't take long for us to regain the lead when a ball across the face of their goal found George C who put it away to make us 3-1 winners.
