

The 18s Prem travelled away to Cray Wanderers with no subs due to a long injury list.
We could have taken an early lead, Liam heading Barn through on goal, but his effort went narrowly wide.
Liam then came close himself, but his shot was saved by the keeper and deflected out for a corner.
The corner was whipped in by Liam. The defender only cleared it as far as Jack O, who volleyed it through a crowd of players and into the net. 1–0, 20 minutes in.
Around 40 minutes in, Cray came close, their striker hitting the post. That was Cray’s first real chance, the boys having done some solid defending.
Just before the break, Juli came close with a header, forcing the keeper to tip the ball over the bar.
Half-time: 0–1.
Ten minutes into the second half, Cray equalised after we failed to clear a free kick.
Cray looked hungry for more, and five minutes later they got a second. A shot from outside the area was saved low by Will, but their striker was quickest to react and tapped it home. 2–1.
The boys didn't give up and searched for an equaliser.
On 70 minutes, Juli was taken down in the area and was awarded a penalty. He stepped up but was denied by the keeper.
Juli then came close again, bursting through the defence, but his shot went straight at the keeper.
Cray made a number of changes and, with fresh legs, we conceded again. Will made a good save to push the ball onto the crossbar, but their striker was quickest to react and collected the ball inside the box before sliding his shot home. 3–1.
