Herne bay started well and put a lot of pressure on Bromley who sat back and defended deep as a team. They tried to catch us in the break. Charlie H stepped out with the ball from the back to help with an attack and found himself on the edge of the box. He beat his man and put a good ball across the box which Dontae Zacharia ran onto to finish to make it 1-0. Herne bay continued to dominate and with a corner on the 37min from Luca McCarthy, Charlie hunter scored. 2-0 half time.
Bromley came out after half time with a more attacking threat and pulled one back from a corner which somehow went through a number of players in the box.
We then settled the game back down and started to get back on top we got the all important next goal with good link up play, Luca McCarthy put the ball across the back for Isaiah Brown to score 3-1.
After this herne bay had control of the game with a high press we nicked the ball of Bromley and with some sharp 2/1 touch passing Luca found Isaiah again to make it 4-1.
Just before the final whistle Dontae made a late run into the box and pulled the ball back to Isaiah again to finish off the scoring and his hatrick
