Herne Bay (U15s) 4 - 1 Faversham Town

Herne Bay u15s played Faversham Town in the Kent Youth League and in windy conditions, both teams struggled to get a hold on the game.

Herne Bay had chances but the Faversham keeper was very assured and on 30 minutes Faversham finished from close range to go 1-0 up. This was a wake-up call the team needed and Will Dodd equalised with a fine strike on the stroke of half-time.

The 2nd half saw the introduction of Jamie Lartice and Vinnie Bowman and both combined well for Lartice to put Herne Bay 2-1 up within two minutes of the restart. Vinnie Bowman then made it 3-1 before a well-worked team goal saw Jamie make it 4-1 late on.

Ben Quinney filling in at right back was solid throughout and picked up the MOTM accolade ??⚽️??
