HBFC U15s : Bay edged out in Top Clash

The u15s played Folkestone on Sunday with both teams sitting 1st and 2nd in the league with identical points.

Folkestone started the better but it was Herne Bay who took the lead when Vinnie Bowman finished very well from a tight angle. Folkestone however, levelled before halftime. The 2nd 40 minutes saw Folkestone take the lead midway through the half and now on top, they made it 3-1.

Herne Bay forced an own goal from Folkestone which set up a frantic last 5 minutes but Folkestone held out for a deserved win against an under-par Herne Bay. Bromley away next in the cup for the u15s.

Jack Vas, was strong throughout and was the Herne Bay MOTM.
