Herne Bay (U15s) 2 - 1 Phoenix Sports (U15s)

The u15s march into the last 8 of the Kent League Cup beating Phoenix Sports 2-1.

The Bay started the game well with Luca McCarthy and Will Dodd dominating the middle of the park. After 15 minutes newly appointed Vice Captain Baileigh Bellem set up Bodie Mason who finished well. HT 1.0.

The 2nd half saw Phoenix rally but a wonderful 25 yard belter from Will Dodd settled the contest. A last-minute penalty was a late consolation for Phoenix who on the day were 2nd best to an impressive Herne Bay . Will Dodd was outstanding in central midfield and received the MOTM accolade.
