U15s League Cup victory

The U15s played Chatham in the 1st round of the League Cup and found themselves trailing 1.0 with some poor defending from a Chatham set piece. But the introduction of Vinnie Bowman on 20 minutes changed the half, as he equalised and then set up Jamie Lartice in the box who was crudely taken down. Up stepped skipper Jack Hillier to give the U15s a 2-1 lead at H/T.

Baileigh Bellem made it 3-1 on 50 minutes reacting first to a rebounded Will Dodd free-kick. Chatham got a cracking goal with 5 minutes remaining but Mason Bristow made it 4-2 with a fine effort within a minute before Bodie Mason made it 5-2 after a fine team move and cross from Bellem. Mason Bristow is pictured with the MOTM trophy. An away trip to Tunbridge Wells awaits in the next round.
