Herne Bay U15s Perfect Start

The Herne Bay U15s started their season against Dover Athletic and made the perfect start when Baileigh Bellem put them 1-0 up within 5 minutes with a superb 25 yard curling shot into the top corner. The U15s had numerous chances to increase their lead but so did Dover to equalise, but both defences held firm . H/T 1-0

The second half was very competitive with both teams creating chances but with 7 minutes remaining Bayleigh Bellem won another free-kick 25 yards out. Up stepped Luca McCarthy to settled the match with a magnificent strike into the top right corner.

A fine performance from the team and a good start to their campaign. Pictured is Baileigh Bellem - a fine afternoon for him and named the u15s player of the week.
