Club legend Eddie Collins presented the first Herne Bay FC Supporters’ Association Man of the Match award in February 2016 to James Turner and on Easter Monday 2019 the 85th and final bottle of champagne was awarded by the Supporters’ Association to Luke Addy and presented by Danny Surbey.

The first six were presented in the clubhouse and the remaining 79 on the pitch after the matches. In this time, I have seen the full spectrum of human behaviour after a match. A lot of it positive but some of it totally the opposite.
