Not one of our better games today. Maybe it was the heat, but it felt like an end of season game with nothing to play for. A large contingent of Bay supporters who contributed to almost half of the 131 in attendance would have left disappointed with this performance.
With a number of key players missing, Bay started the game playing two U23s and another four on the substitutes bench. This did affect the way we played; keeping the ball too long and then losing possession or giving the ball away cheaply.
One shot on target in the first half and one in the second; from which Danny Leonard scored. Bradley Schafer with a quick free kick passed to Danny saw him race into the box and fire across the keeper into the bottom of corner. This goal drew Bay level after 5 minutes earlier Simon Kabamba, trying to stop a low cross from substitute, Frankie Sawyer, unfortunately directed the ball wide of Simon Overland into his own goal.
Sawyer made sure of the points netting in the 81st.
