Everyone at Herne Bay Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Harrison Hatfull, who joins the Bay following his departure from Isthmian League Premier Division rivals Margate.

The defender, who can also play further up the pitch in a more attacking midfield position, made a total of 40 appearance for the Gate since joining in October 2020, 16 of which coming this season.

Formerly of Bearsted, the team he joined Margate from, following an earlier spell at Hartsdown Park, he goes straight into contention for a place in Kevin Watson's side as we travel to face promotion-chasing Bishop's Stortford.

He adds excellent competition to the Bay's defensive ranks, especially considering the continued unavailability of Jack Parter through injury, while also providing added versatility in the centre of the pitch.

Harrison's talents on and off the ball have even attracted attention further up the football pyramid, having enjoyed a trial spell with a National League club earlier in the year.
