We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Finn O'Mara, who joins the club on loan from Isthmian League Premier Division side Hastings United.

Finn is a former Gillingham youth product, having signed at the age of 13. He spent a total of six years at Priestfield Stadium, making his professional debut during the 2017/18 season as a substitute against Blackburn Rovers.

From there, he signed a permanent deal with Folkestone Invicta in 2018, making 106 appearances for Invicta, including 85 starts and 21 off the bench. During his stay with Invicta, he scored five goals.

Finn then initially moved to Hastings United on a short-term loan deal in November 2021, with the U's making the transfer permanent not long after.

O'Mara, who can operate as either a centre-back or a right-back, will be available for selection for tomorrow's Isthmian League Premier Division match at home against Corinthian-Casuals.
