Everyone at Herne Bay Football Club is delighted to officially announce the signing of Che Krabbendam, who joins us from National League South side Cheshunt FC.

The versatile midfielder, who made his debut against Bognor Regis Town at the weekend, has also featured for the likes of Welling United, Dartford, Staines Town, Burgess Hill Town, and Dover Athletic since moving to the UK from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2017.

Che, who can play in defence as well as across the midfield, adds further strength in depth to Ben Smith's side as they look to improve their current standing in the Isthmian League Premier Division table.

Speaking of the new signing after Saturday's game against Bognor Regis Town, Smith was happy with how he has settled into the side.

"I thought he did really well," said Smith.

"We changed things to go a little more attacking and he is something that has been an attacker in the past.

"We put him on out there and I thought he was really good and really comfortable on the ball.

"He can play in a number of positions and I am sure he will prove to be a really good addition for us"
