It seems a long eleven days for Herne Bay since our last match at Chichester City on Tuesday last week, which was followed by an abandoned game and a midweek postponement.

VCD Athletic are our opponents on Saturday, and they are one league place below Herne Bay having amassed 42 points from their first 27 matches. They have reached the 50 goal mark and have been beaten three times at home. Their recent form has seen them fail to score in a couple of away games at Burgess Hill and Corinthian, but they are yet to fail to score at home.
