Herne Bay FC Girls Pathway

Sponsors are thanked as our Girls Pathway continues to grow

Herne Bay FC would like to share a progress update on our expanding Girls Pathway ahead of the 2026/27 season. Over recent months, significant work has taken place to build a stronger, more sustainable structure for girls’ football at the club — and we are delighted to confirm that five new teams will be competing this season at U7, U9, U11, U13 and U16.

Alongside this, our Wildcats programme continues to grow, and preparations are underway for the introduction of Squad Girls sessions starting in September. These additions strengthen our offer for girls at every stage of their football journey and ensure we are providing meaningful opportunities that have been missing in the area for some time.

A key part of this progress has been ensuring our players feel valued and fully part of the club. New kits, training wear and a clear identity across the pathway were essential — and thanks to the support of several outstanding sponsors, we have been able to deliver this with pride.

Continuing Our Work
While we are proud of the progress made, the development of the Girls Pathway is ongoing. To keep football affordable and accessible, we continue to seek additional sponsorship. The club has also committed to delivering off‑field education in areas such as mental health, women’s health and injury prevention — programmes that rely on specialist professionals and external support.

Any organisation wishing to help us expand these vital initiatives is warmly encouraged to get in touch.
