Herne Bay FC can confirm that following an FA review of Tuesday’s FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round Replay against Broadfields United, the Club has been instructed to replay the fixture. The match will now take place on Tuesday 18 August at 19:45.

The decision follows a substitution matter identified after the original game. While the Club provided full observations and cooperated fully with the process, the FA has determined that the tie should be replayed.

For clarity, the substitution in question occurred in the 88th minute when Herne Bay were leading 5–0, and the match was effectively decided at that point.
