The Exclusive Butler School was founded by John Pettman, Managing Director of Exclusive Household Staff, and himself an ex-Royal Butler who started his career at Buckingham Palace and progressed to The British Embassy in Paris.

John worked alongside two of our Butler Trainers, Mark Moynan and Michael Taylor, to produce a programme tailored to creating the ultimate Private House Butler by providing true British Butler Training.

Our Head Butler Trainer, Mark Moynan, is a fully qualified Lecturer and the Exclusive Butler School is currently the only Butler School globally to be certified by a Training College, in our case East Kent College in the UK.

Following successful completion of your Butler Training, Exclusive Household Staff can assist you through the recruitment process in order to gain your first private household Butler role, or progression in your career, as appropriate. Junior Butler salaries start at £20-£25,000 per annum and a Top Private Butler can earn in excess of £100,000 per annum.

The Exclusive Butler School also offer bespoke in-house training for Private Households, Royal Palaces, Motor Yachts, Hotels, Restaurants, and can travel worldwide to take on any bespoke assignments.
