Herne Bay FC Presentation Evening 2021/22
For the first time since joining Herne Bay FC, Chairman Stuart Fitchie was able to host a “proper” end of season presentation for our 1st Team. As we all know, due to a brilliant end of the season, during which Bay won 6 straight games, including playoff victories against Haywards Heath and Ashford United we have now been promoted to the Isthmian Premier.
Grapevine was chosen as the venue for the evening, and a full squad of 1st Team Players was joined by volunteers, season-ticket holders, sponsors, and many regular supporters for a night of celebration.
Stuart spoke of his gratitude to many people but reserved a special mention for John Bathurst for all he has done for the Club. He then began the first of the evening’s awards, after the first delicious platters from Grapevine had been served.
The awards sponsored by Young Brothers Transport were perfect for the special occasion a full breakdown of the winners is listed below and photographs can be viewed on the links below. We heard from manager Ben Smith how the awards were closely fought and so many players were worthy and promotion was a testament to their efforts. We were also treated to Kieron Campbell modelling the 2022/23 home kit we will be playing in during our first season in the Isthmian Premier League.
