Lightfoot was originally with the Dover Academy and then with Chatham Town’s U21s before going to Faversham Town, then joining Cray Wanderers followed by Ramsgate at the start of 2018/19. He joined Herne Bay in November 2018 and made one start and one appearance before moving on to Canterbury City. He was part of the City squad who reached the Semi-Finals of the FA Vase last season.Squad
