Started at the outset of Soccer Elite Academy at Senacre School and then Oldborough Manor. Scouted by Charlton Athletic into their Development Squad and then onto Millwall, Mulrooney-Skinner was spotted by Republic of Ireland coaches/scouts on a Millwall tour and invited out to play a friendly with the national squad in Ireland. He represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 17 level in the European Championships in 2013. On leaving Millwall he joined Leatherhead but after finding limited first team opportunities at the Tanners he moved to Hythe Town in September 2016, after the two sides had met in the FA Cup, and then onto East Grinstead Town in January 2017, before re-joining Hythe on transfer deadline day. Joined Herne Bay in July 2017 and in two injury-hit seasons made 54 appearances and scored five goals. A close-season operation should see him back to his best.
