Herne Bay Ladies cruised past Margate in this final warm up game of the pre season before heading to Carshalton Athletic in the FA Cup on Sunday. Playing free flowing football with some neat short interchange football, Herne Bay Ladies scored four goals in a match for the first time in two seasons. Debbie Blackmore opened the scoring from the penalty spot on the half hour mark to give the Ladies a half time lead.

In the second 45 Bay created more chances, controlling the midfield with Jemma Barton and Carly Farrow slicing through the Margate back four. Carly Farrow and Kate Foster with two on her return to match action after being sidelined for last season scored the second half goals that their neat football deserved.
