Herne Bay Under 13’s faced Ramsgate after the Christmas and New Year break. Bay looked to get off to good start and opened the scoring within the first minute as Joe Reid finished off a fine move at the far post. The game took a scrappy turn until once again Joe Reid scored to give Herne Bay a 2 - 0 lead. Bay continue to grow in confidence with some great flowing football when Woody Ebrill open his account for the day soon followed Alfie Dudley scoring his first of the season. Alfie Wood then produced a great pass to pick out Luke Harvey who slotted past the keeper to make it 5 - 0 at half time.

The second half started well with Luke Harvey crossing for Joe Reid who unselfishly help the ball onto James Williams to score in an empty net. Joesph Crowley finished well with a fine shot into the corner for Herne Bay’s 7th of the match. The Ramsgate keeper made a number of great saves before Luke Harvey tapped in at the far post. Joe Reid then completed his Hat-Trick when he hassled the defender into a mistake and then slotted past the oncoming keeper for 9 - 0 for the Bay. Luke Harvey completed his hat-trick when he finished off a great through ball from Anthony Simes for 10 - 0. Jacob Webb then made a great save on a rare attack from Ramsgate before Woody Ebrill finished well for his 2nd and Bay 11th. Ramsgate broke away to score a consolation goal for 11 - 1. Luke Harvey then set the ball for Alfie Wood to unleash a great strike into the top corner for Herne Bay 12th and last of the match.
