The u15s travelled to Bromley in the 1/4 final of the Kent League Cup.
Playing on the main ground pitch it was always going to be a hard game and it proved to be exactly that. Bromley were very impressive and took the lead after 10 minutes. Herne Bay held firm but two quick goals before half time killed the tie. Bromley continued to dominate and were worthy 5-0 winners. Zach Adkins had a fine 30 yard shot that hit the crossbar but other chances were few and far between. However, the team must take great credit for getting this far, taking the scalps of Chatham, Tonbridge and Phoenix Sports in the earlier rounds.
The u15s return to league action v Hastings next week.
