Herne Bay bowed out of the Kent Intermediate Cup at their first attempt on a rain swept Winch’s Field.
Poor finishing plus a very dominant goalkeeping display from Blairs’ keeper. Two second half goals sealed the victory; the first in the 50th minute a superb volley which Stand-in keeper, Anthony Deer just failed to keep out and the second 3 minutes from time when a misjudgement by the defender allowed the Blair forward to advance one-on one with Deer to drill the ball home.
A very disappointing performance.
