U15s Friendly

Bay host Ramsgate U16's in a Friendly !

Bay without a league fixture hosted Ramsgate to keep up their match fitness for the upcoming league games...The first 15 minutes were nip and tuck with both teams cancelling each other out but as in previous weeks Bay found themselves 1-0 down from their own corner the ball was cleared which left 2 v 2 and Ramsgate used the ball well to finish. Bay then woke up and within 2 minutes were level the ball was clipped through by Freddie Kemp and Cameron Chamberlain lobbed the keeper with the ball bouncing toward the post Prince Adu-Boamah finished it off 1-1. This pushed Bay onto the front foot and Chamberlain added a second with a fine control & volley into the top corner on the half hour mark. The game was now under control with Alfie Greatorex-Smith rifling a low drive from 25yrds which beat the keeper and made it 3-1 into the break. Bay shuffled the pack and added a fourth when James Hatton peeled off the back of his marker and hit a beautiful left foot volley across the keeper into the far corner.Euan Sallis then kept up his scoring streak when Ollie Gallantree picked out a lovely ball which Sallis smashed in with his left foot,Bay had a host of chances before Chamberlain grabbed his second late on and Bay's sixth...all in all a good outing against an age group above, although once ahead Bay didn't look threatened and played some nice football.
