U15s Continue their great Start

Herne Bay again got off to a slow start with Sheppey taking the lead on 5 mins a long ball found Sheppeys left winger and from 25 yards he hit a rocket into the top right hand corner giving Bay keeper Henry Duley no chance.
As in previous matches this woke Bay up and the equaliser came soon after the restart when Cameron Chamberlain freed Euan Sallis and he finished well into the bottom left corner 1-1.Bay took control of the game with James Hatton, Ollie Gallantree and Captain Joe Theze playing some lovely one touch footbal in the middle of the park, Bay danger man Prince Adu-Boamah was rewarded for all his hard work and grabbed Bay's second goal Sallis found Prince with a neat pass and he smashed the ball in from an angle on the half hour 2-1..With Bay in the ascendency and in control the third goal came 5 mins before the break Chamberlain with a good turn on the edge of the box and right foot strike could only be parried by the keeper and Euan Sallis was on hand to stroke the ball home from 6 yards 3-1. To give the Sheppey keeper credit he was worked hard in the first half and pulled off one of the best saves seen in grassroots football just before half time,Chamberlain was through on the right of the box and connected well with a volley and the keeper somehow got his right hand to the ball and diverted it over the bar to keep the score down to 3-1 at half time.
Bay made a couple of changes Freddie Kemp and Elisio Sands-Romero were added to shore things up,it worked and Bay added a fourth after the break, Kemp found Alfie Greatorex-Smith on the left he sent Sallis down to the byline sallis crossed to an unmarked Chamberlain who tapped home 4-1. Bay's Max Hyde had to keep his defence on their toes and kept Bay on the front foot winning nearly every ball..Bay had a couple of injuries and Ellis Sharman and Alfie Lewis stepped in to keep the game flowing,Bay were rewarded with a fifth goal when Prince skipped past a few challenges on the right and flashed a shot which the keeper could only parry into the path of Sallis and Chamberlain with both of them claiming the final touch but the VAR ( us Coach's ) awarded it to Sallis for his hatrick 5-1. Fin McGrath moved into midfield and Bay shuffled to try and consolidate the match but Sheppey had other idea's and grabbed their second goal with a great shot which looped over Bay keeper Henry Duley 5-2 and the final whistle blew ....again the game was entertaining and referee M.Coleman let the game flow so well done to both teams and we now look forward to Bredhurst @ Herne Bay High School 14th Oct 10.30am K.O.
Come watch the unbeaten Bay boys'...UP THE BAY !!
