Goalkeepers
Ryan Birch Age:18 GK ‘Birchy’ has built a reputation as one of the best young shot stoppers in the area. He made his debut for Canterbury City 1st team last season and also received the man of the match award for his outstanding performance in the u18 Kent Cup final for Ramsgate, which included a penalty save.

Defenders
Ben Emery Age:23. CB/CM Ben is a technically gifted defender who has previously played for the 1st team. Comfortable on both feet, great in the air and strong in a tackle.
Elliot Bensted Age:21 CB Returned to the area from university where he was part of a very successful side. Physically imposing and happy to receive the ball at his feet and play.
George Foulger Age:19 RB George is a hard working right back who possesses great versatility. He is also comfortable playing in more advanced roles across midfield.
Ieaun Morgan Age:23 CB/CM A real athlete comfortable in several positions. Ieaun has suffered with injuries over the last few seasons but has been looking sharp in preseason.
Josh Wood Age:22 LB Josh is one of the few members of last season’s u21 squad who has been retained. Towards the end of the season he broke into the first team at left back, and he will be keen to do the more of the same this season.
Will Johnston Age:27 CB Will is a solid defender who leads by example. Whilst more commonly a centre half he can also play full back.

Midfielders
Ben Sargeant Age:26 CM Ben brings a calming influence to the team with his understanding of the game has the ability to dictate the game from centre midfield.
Bradley Dale Age:18 CM An energetic central midfielder with bags of potential. Brad will cover every blade of grass and is equally comfortable in holding roles or more advanced positions.
Callum Gore Age:19 CAM Callum has good technical ability and is a set piece specialist. He likes to get into advanced positions from midfield and cause problems for the opposition goalkeeper.
Connor Wetherall Age: 22 CM A good technician who has the ability to chip in with both assists and goals. ‘Wev’ generally plays in behind the striker but can also play in slightly deeper roles.
Danio Brown Age:19 W Danio is a real get you out of your seat player who loves to run at defenders. He possesses great feet and pace and is comfortable operating from both sides of the pitch.
Declan Wale Age:22 CM A versatile midfielder with a great range of passing. Dec can sit in midfield and get on the ball or operate further up the pitch behind the striker.
Jake Page Age:22 CM Jake has previously been part of the first team match day squads and will be looking to show what he has to offer this season. Fantastic in one-on-one situations and has an eye for goal.

Attackers
Marwan Jemal Age:19 ST A tricky customer with quick feet and an eye for goal. MJ is predominantly a striker but can be very effective in wide positions.
Sam Hallett Age:21 ST A proven finisher at this level and another player who will be looking to fulfil his potential. Had a spell with the first team last season before moving to Lordswood.
