Sam Denly ahead of the Whyteleafe game

Whyteleafe are always decent, always tough opponents to go up against
- Sam Denly

Herne Bay take on Whyteleafe at Winch's Field this afternoon still searching for their first league win of the season after two 1-1 draws.

Herne Bay manager Sam Denly says, "We're prepared for this. Whyteleafe are always decent, always tough opponents to go up against. We've been working on things during the week and are looking to get our first win in the league. I'm still looking to bring a few players in and we've picked up a few niggles already which makes that even more important. Whyteleafe will be hard but we've been working hard this year with Steve (Nolan) coming in looking at phases of play, different shape, set pieces and it's looking good so we'll be prepped and ready to go".
