Sam Denly on the Hastings encounter

"It's going to be a lot harder than the Tooting game
- Sam Denly

Hastings United are the visitors to The Field of Dreams on Tuesday evening. Having strengthened their side in a bid for promotion a big crowd and a tough game is expected.

"It's going to be a lot harder than the Tooting game", says Herne Bay supremo Sam Denly, "Hastings are going to be one of the favourites this year, they've made some good signings, they're a good side. We need to do better. I've said to the boys we need to man up, start taking our chances, it's going to be a tough season, some tough and stronger sides but we are in that bracket. We've been together four years so there's no real excuses anymore. If we want to maintain the quality we had last year then we've got to give better performances".
