“I want to build on what has already been achieved at the club”
Herne Bay Ladies will be running a reserve team for the 2019/20 season, playing in the South East Counties Women's Football League and starting in the Kent divisional structure with home games being played at Winch's Field.
The club is delighted to announce the appointment of Russell Rowe as the reserve team manager who comes to the role after 14 years coaching youth teams.
Ladies manager Peter Whittaker said, "I am delighted to welcome Russell to the club as we embark on a new venture underlining how far the Ladies structure has come. We are also delighted with our association with Herne Bay Rangers that is now seeing players come through to the adult ladies' teams at Herne Bay. Russell has already attended several training sessions and I am confident that the reserve team will thrive under his management".
For his part, Russell is looking forward to the challenge. "I want to build on what has already been achieved at the club. The aim is to get as many ladies into the 1st team as possible by playing attractive football in the style of this years champions.", he said.
