News on progress & signings

Here is a quick update this morning on how the Herne Bay Fc teams are developing.
The managers have this morning updated us on new signings & team progress.
John Embery and Jermaine Darlington who run Herne Bay's first team are pleased to announce The signing of Jordan Beeny who joins us from Charlton Athletic After just being released from his four year pro contract. Jordan is an excellent goalkeeper with a wealth of experience and we are very pleased to bring him to the Bay.
We are also happy to announce that Ben Gorham will rejoin us after a short spell at Hythe we wish him the best of luck as always.
Ryan Catmull also rejoins after a spell at Canterbury city welcome to all three of those.
The development of The squad looks good and we are looking for a great start to the season.
Come watch our first Home game for our first team this Saturday the 18th vs Whyteleafe
KO 3pm.
We also have an array of talented young players joining us this season as we have two new teams joining the Herne Bay Fc development program, including an under 13s run by Mark Harvey and Shane Wood and we have an under 15s run by Anthony Sands and Andy Chamberlain we welcome both these teams to our family and look forward to spotting some early talent.

The current under 18s with managers Steve Gray and Danny Surbey will finish their last season at youth football as second year under 18s many of these players have already featured in the past months in the development squad and the firsts and we look forward to seeing more talent from them.
We wish them well as they embark on their season.
The development squad run by Alan Birchard and Anthony Deer will now play in the Bostik development league this will not only help develop players on the fringes of the first team but with midweek games will also give John and Jermaine chance to watch those developing players. Good luck to all.
The walking football has Tony old organising behind the scenes and the talents of Nick Denly and Neil Brown managing the squads they will this season be playing in the Kent walking football league and this Saturday the 18th will play in the final regional round of the national over 50s cup.
A win here against Brighton could see them go through to the National finals Best of luck to them for that and the coming season.
Lastly but not least the HBFC ladies welcome new manager Peter Whittaker he has a wealth of experience in both coaching and management and with the help of Graham Miller and Peter Guise amongst others will hopefully Bring the ladies a successful season with new and old faces developing well. We wish the ladies the best of luck as they start this season.
