Herne Bay FC Ladies took more than a few steps in cementing the association with Herne Bay Rangers who run girls football in the Bay providing progression through to the Herne Bay Ladies set up by joining in the carnival procession to promote Rangers.

Kate Foster and Herne Bay FC Ladies manager, Rachel Tracy, are not just talking the talk on the association between one of the top Ladies teams in Kent and local girls football, they are actually walking the walk. In blistering sunshine and heat, the Ladies pair joined in.

"There was a lot of walking and a lot of leaflets", said Rachel Tracy, "but it was worth it to help promote Herne Bay Rangers who will be encouraging girls to play football and develop their skills so that when they are able to they can aspire to play for Herne Bay FC Ladies. Kate (Foster) and I have also been attending Rangers training sessions to lend a hand and show the girls that they can be Ladies players at Herne Bay if they put the work in on the training ground and in their local league matches".
