Last season Herne Bay FC were pleased to be able to raise funds for the Alzheimer Society with a variety of fund raising activities and bucket collections at matches.

This season the club has decided to support the British Heart Foundation in a similar way and will once again be asking visitors to The Altira Park Stadium, Winch's Field to drop a few loose coins from their pockets in to the collecting boxes.

"Our charity fund raising last season was a big success", said Bay's Financial Director Ron Boddy, "so this season we have decided to repeat the effort on behalf of the British Heart Foundation and would hope that supporters will give generously as they did last season for Alzheimers".
