Herne Bay Football Club is seeking applications for the position of manager for its Reserve Team playing at County League level. Herne Bay Football Club places as much emphasis on an applicant’s knowledge of the game, ability to coach the best out of players, contacts within the local football fraternity to unearth players of suitable standard for county league level and progression to step 4. If you are able to evidence these qualities they will be considered equal to existing experience. You will also be expected to give due consideration to the development of players coming through the club’s youth system, liaising with the managers of those teams to identify, develop and provide opportunities for progression, recognising that the reserve team then provides opportunities for further progression to step 4. Ideally, you will hold an appropriate coaching licence, or be working, or prepared to work, toward one.
