Hasler on his way to Folkestone

I'd like to thank Sam Hasler for his efforts for Herne Bay Football Club and wish him well in his future career
- Herne Bay FC manager, Sam Denly

Herne Bay FC have announced that they and Sam Hasler have agreed terms with Ryman Premier side Folkestone Invicta although those terms remain undisclosed and a private matter between the two clubs and the player.

Hasler has been sidelined for seven matches following his second red card in consecutive matches against Guernsey at Footes Lane and was due to be available again for selection for Herne Bay in the FA Trophy match this coming Saturday against Harrow Borough.

However, the player and clubs have agreed terms and manager Sam Denly said, "a fit Sam Hasler on the park has been a real positive for us and obviously Neil Cugley, Invicta's manager, believes that Sam can do well at the higher level. I'd like to thank Sam Hasler for his efforts for Herne Bay Football Club and wish him well in his future career".

The club have also announced that Stuart Zanone has left Herne Bay FC with his contract being cancelled by mutual consent. Zanone is now a free agent with regard to signing for a new club.
